Five Black Gums Baptist Church will hold an ordination service Friday, April 18, 2014, beginning at 7:00 p.m. to ordain Bro. Marty Lowe into the ministry of the Lord.  Pastor Ben Lay and the congregation invite the public to attend.
The Adult Choir of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville will be presenting its Easter Musical on Easter morning, Sunday, April 20, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.  The musical is entitled “Then Came the Morning” and is a powerful, uplifting arrangement of new and old favorites, including songs by Bill Gaither and The Cathedrals.  Please come join us for this wonderful experience!

The First United Methodist Church on Main Street in Oneida would like to invite the community to join them for Holy Week Services.  Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall they will re-create the meal that Jesus shared with His disciples, the Last Supper, which was the Passover Meal, or Seder Meal.  Friday, April 18, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. they remember Jesus' last hours of earthly life with a Tenebrae Service.  With readings from the Gospels, and music, they will re-live those final hours of Jesus, as He gave His life to save each of us.  Sunday, April 20, 2014, at 7:00 a.m. as they re-live the Resurrection of Jesus with an Easter Sunrise Service at Gazebo #4 at the Oneida City Park.  Easter worship at 11:00 a.m.  For more information, contact the church office at (423) 569-8828 or oneida.first.umc@gmial.com.

Kings Kids at Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church in Robbins is now underway each Wednesday night from 6:30 pm -8:00 pm.  They encourage you as a parent to let your children attend this most blessed event.  Parents are also welcomed.  They will serve them a meal, they will enjoy music, memory time, class time, and many other events.  All vans are running.  If you know of someone that would like to attend this, please call the church number (423) 627-2930 and leave a message.  They will call you back to get the directions on where to pick them up.  Bring someone with you.  This will be something that they will always remember and truly enjoy.  Pastor Phillip Kidd and the congregation would like to invite the public to attend.
