Tennessee Technology Center Enrollment Ends Friday

 

            Huntsville, TN (2008-10-01) Persons interested in taking courses at the local campus of the Tennessee Technology Center will have until Friday to sign up.

            According to Director Dwight Murphy, open enrollment for the Fall term at Tennessee Technology Center at Oneida/Huntsville will end on Friday.  This year, the local school will be offering a variety of courses, including classes in technical fields of study and healthcare, along with a number of classes just for fun.

            Technical classes being offered include Welding, Automotive Technology, Computers, Machine Tool, and Electronics.  Students can earn hours toward a diploma or upgrade their skills to find a better job.

Healthcare field offerings include CNA, IV Therapy, Introduction to Nursing, and CPR/First Aid.  These courses will prepare enrollees for jobs in the healthcare field or better prepared them for entry into Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse classes.

            Then there are fun classes such as holiday cooking, digital photography and upholstery, where you make your own ottoman.
