West Crowned Miss Pre-Teen At Scott County Fair

 

            Oneida, TN (2010-08-26) Katie Lauren West, the 12-year-old daughter of Angie and Wes Owens and Dean West of Oneida, was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Fairest of the Fair during the annual pageant held Thursday night in Oneida.  Katie, a 7th grade student at Burchfield Elementary School, was selected from a field of 29 contestants.  She was sponsored by the Oneida Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

            First runner up to the Miss Pre-Teen crown was Kayla Shay King, the 13-year-old daughter of Kelvin and Susan King of Winfield.  Kayla, a 7th grade student at Oneida Middle School, was sponsored by Brennan’s Foot and Ankle Care.

            Destiny Hope Jeffers, the 13-year-old daughter of Dewayne and Christy Jeffers of Oneida, was named second runner up.  An 8th grade student at Oneida Middle School, Destiny was sponsored by GD Handyworks.

            Contestants making the top six were:  Sara Delanie Blevins, the 12-year-old daughter of Daniel Blevins and Michelle Bates; Bailey Lovett, the 13-year-old daughter of James and Reecia Lovett; and Hannah Nichole Newport, the 12-year-old daughter of James and Kim Newport.

            Those recognized for top fifteen honors were:  Hannah Ruth Bowling, the 11-year-old daughter of Kevin and Pamela Bowling; Heather Rose Bunch, the 12-year-old daughter of Wayne and Tammy Bunch; Chloe Nicole Childres, the 12-year-old daughter of Jimi Payne and Paul Childres; Katie Kidd, 13-year-old daughter of Randall and Stacey Kidd; Raileigh Shae Laxton, the 11-year-old daughter of Mark and Tonya Laxton; Ashley Elaine Myers, the 13-year-old daughter of Misty and Ricky Chambers; Taylor Marie Slaven, the 11-year-old daughter of Tammy and Troy Duncan and Adam Slaven; Jacey Raine Webb, the 11-year-old daughter of Katrina Lovett and Derek Webb; and Raven Maurice Wright, the 11-year-old daughter of Jodie and T.J. Green.

            Autumn Elaine Terry, the 13-year-old daughter of Peggy Watson and Carl Terry was chosen Miss Congeniality.
