Stephens Crowned As 50th Anniversary Miss Scott County

 

Oneida, TN (2010-08-28) Taylor Danielle Stephens, the 18-year-old daughter of Bruce and Renae Stephens of Oneida, was crowned Miss Scott County Fairest of the Fair during the 50th annual pageant held Saturday night in Oneida.  Taylor, a senior at Oneida High School, was selected from a field of 22 contestants.  She was sponsored by Bio Test LLC.

First runner-up to the Miss Scott County crown was Whitney Raven Posey, the 17-year-old daughter of Verna and the late Jerry Posey. Whitney is a senior at Scott  High School, and she was sponsored by Winco. In addition to being first runner-up, Whitney was voted as Miss Congeniality.

The second runner-up in the pageant was Shelby Johanna Burchfield, the 19-year-old daughter of Scott and Bridgett Burchfield. A freshman at Tennessee Tech University, Shelby was sponsored by Mark’s Family Pharmacy.

The remainder of the top six included Alex Jadrian Bond, the 17-year old daughter of Brett and Joyce Bond; Bryce Damita Terry, the 16-year-old daughter of Randy and Michelle Terry; and Mari Whittenburg, the 19-year-old daughter of Tony and Kendra Whittenburg.

Judges honored the top fourteen competitors, including Mackenzie Darae Botts, the 16-year-old daughter of Tonya and Mark Laxton and Paul and Tina Botts; Laken Ciara Bowlin, the 16-year-old daughter of Rylan and Missy Bowlin; Felicia Rosemary Campbell, the 17-year-old daughter of Teresa George and Dan Campbell; McKenzie LaRae Collins, the 17-year-old daughter of Tiffany and Kenneth Collins; Chelsey LeeAnn Crowley, the 18-year-old daughter of Tammy Crowley and Tommy Crowley; Ali Jacquelyn Love, the 18-year-old daughter of Scarlett Love; Tiffany Thi Nguyen, the 17-year-old daughter of Kelly and Eric Nguyen; and Sarah Dawn Newport, the 16-year-old daughter of Kenny and Terri Newport.
