Two Arrested Following Search Of Sunny Lane Home

Oneida, TN (2011-01-27) Two men have been arrested following a search of an Oneida home by officers from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department and Oneida Police Department.

John Godsey, 46, and Jacob Slaven, 27, both of Oneida were arrested around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night by narcotics officers from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department and officers from the Oneida Police Department after the two local law enforcement agencies teamed up to execute a search warrant on a house on Sunny Lane in Oneida.

As result of the search, authorities allegedly found Godsey in possession of the powerful painkiller, Percocet.

Godsey was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, Percocet, and two counts of the sale of schedule II controlled substance, Percocet.

Slaven was arrested on a violation from criminal court and a failure to appear warrant.
