Huntsville Pair Busted For Meth Possession

 

            Huntsville, TN (2011-01-28) Two Huntsville men have been charged with possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop by the Scott County Sheriff’s Department Friday night.

            Junior Byrge, 45, and Mark Terry, 50, both of Huntsville were arrested Friday night after officers from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department stopped Bryge’s vehicle on Glasshouse Road in Huntsville.  Byrge, who was reportedly wanted on an outstanding warrant, was arrested.  A subsequent search of his person and vehicle reportedly uncovered a quantity of the powerfully addictive pyschostimulant, methamphetamine.  Terry, a passenger in the car, likewise was allegedly in possession of the drug.

            A subsequent search of Bryge’s Glasshouse residence allegedly uncovered numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

            Byrge was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, methamphetamine; sale of a schedule II controlled substance, meth; and felony possession of more than 0.5 gram meth.  Terry was charged with possession of more than 0.5 grams of meth.
