Annual Auction To Benefit Local Women’s Shelter

 

Oneida, TN (2011-08-01) The 16th Annual Scott County Auction and Telethon will be held this Friday and Saturday, August 5, 2011 and August 6, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the studios of Oneida Broadcasters, Inc. and will be seen live on Oneida Cable and Video Channel 4 and heard on WBNT FM 105.5.  This year’s event will benefit the Scott County Women’s Shelter.

For two nights, a plethora of items will be auctioned off to the highest bidder during the 16th Annual Scott County Auction and Telethon. This year’s major items include:  a used pontoon boat with outboard and fishing motors; a 6 day/7 night stay in a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo at the Emerald Grande in Destin, FL; $1000 orthodontic treatment from Dr. Nyla Cross; an autographed photograph by Senator Howard Baker; one-year scholarship to the Boys and Girls Club; an oak buffet table; teeth whitening from Dr. Dennis Baird; 2-night stay in a 3-bedroom cabin in Wilderness Resort; $500 certificate at B&B Metals; a cherry desk; half-day quail or pheasant hunt for two at Sawbriar; and a patio set.
