Hill Named New CPO Of
Local Boys and Girls Club

ties has been tapped to lead the Boys and Girls Club of Scott County.
Hank
Hill, of Calhoun, GA has been named the new Chief Professional
Officer of the local Boys and Girls Club.
Hill, will assume his new role on October 24, 2011, has extensive
experience with the various programs of the Boys and Girls Club, having been
with the organization since 2001. Within
the organization, Hill has graduated from the Boys and Girls Club of America’s
Advanced Leadership School of Management, successfully completed the Boys and
Girls Club Management Track I and II courses, and is a member of the
Professional Association of the Boys and Girls Club of America. Early in his career he taught homebound
children ages elementary through high school. Hill was also active in several
civic and youth based organizations in Gordon County, GA, and was instrumental
in developing and maintaining numerous associations with a host of agencies,
including the Alabama Marine Police, Forestry Service, National Wild Turkey
Federation, Kiwanis, area school systems, and church organizations.
Hill
is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham,
and was honorably discharged from the Alabama National Guard. He and his wife, Amanda, have two children.
While
Hill will not assume his new duties until late October, he will be present at
the Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame Dinner on Thursday, September 29,
