Byrd Re-Elected To Highland Telephone Cooperative Board

Huntsville, TN (2011-11-12) Incumbent Board member Jan Byrd has been re-elected to the panel as representative for the 663 exchange.

As a result of the election Saturday, Jan Byrd has been re-elected to the Highland Telephone Cooperative Board of Directors over challenger Brian Strunk. Unofficially, Byrd was credited with 399 votes, or 70 percent of the total vote, while Strunk received 173 votes.

Byrd has served the 663 exchange for the previous 32 years.
