Scott County Woman Arrested In Georgia On Local Drug Charges

Huntsville, TN (2011-11-14) A Scott County woman that had eluded local authorities was arrested over the weekend in Georgia and returned to Scott County to face local drug charges.

Jamey Lee Simmons, 34, of Chatsworth, GA was arrested over the weekend in Georgia on outstanding local drug charges. According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department, Simmons, who previously lived in Scott County, was wanted on outstanding charges for the alleged sale of Oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance.

Simmons was extradited from Georgia on Sunday and booked in the Scott County Jail. She is being held under a $25,000 bond.
