School Board Rejects Bids On

6-0 to reject two bids received by the County Finance Committee for improving

In other business Thursday night, the Board:

Accepted bids from Tour Coordinators of Oneida
for the Scott High senior trip to
· Granted permission to the school’s technology department to file necessary paperwork to apply for E-Rate services funding for the period July 1, 2011 to July 30, 2012;
· Declared a truck from the Transportation Department as surplus and authorized the Finance Director to sell it;
·
Accepted a $27,500 LEAPS Grant to provide after
school and summer programs for
· Approved on second reading amendments to several policies, including 4.603 – Promotion and Retention; 6.202 – Home School; 6.304 – Student Discrimination/Harassment & Bullying/Intimidation; 5.202 – Separation Practices for Non-Certified Employees; and 5.109 – Evaluations; and,
· Approved budget amendments to the General Purpose and IDEA Part B Special Education and Preschool budgets.
