Ten Indicted by
††††††††††† According to court documents, a total of ten persons were indicted earlier this week on charges ranging from murder to reckless endangerment.
††††††††††† True bills returned by the Grand Jury included:
††††††††††† Gerald Ray Nelson, 50, was charged with second degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the shooting death of Dustin Gunter on April 13, 2013;
Duncan, 46, was indicted on five counts, including two counts of rape,
aggravated burglary and violation of the community supervision for life.†
Marie Botts, 37, was indicted on thirteen counts of
illegal voter registration.† Botts, and her husband, Carrie Lee Botts,
age 29, both of
Joel Lindsay Robbins, 32, was charged in a five count indictment following his June 14, 2013 arrest. Robbins was indicted for tampering with evidence, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
††††††††††† Joesph Carroll, 38, was indicted for allegedly driving under the influence (2nd offense), and simple possession of marijuana.† Carroll was arrested on December 31, 2012;
Dewayne Richardson, 55, was booked on a single charge of driving under the
influence, 2nd offense.†
††††††††††† Angela Tara Rocha, 40, was indicted for allegedly driving under the influence after her March 19, 2013 arrest;
††††††††††† Michael Eugene Gross, 38, was charged with aggravated assault following an April 3, 2013 incident; and,
††††††††††† Michael A. Spradlin, 43, was indicted following a July 4, 2012 incident, when he allegedly used a motor vehicle as a weapon.† Spradlin was charged with reckless endangerment and violation of the financial responsibility law.
††††††††††† An indictment is a formal written document that is drawn up by a prosecutor accusing a person of having committed a felony or misdemeanor and which is presented to a Grand Jury so that it may take action upon it. The potential for persons with similar or the same name in the community exists. All persons are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
